UConn game thread
UConn drives down the field. Lorenzen throws a pick in the endzone.

14-7 Baylor

Even UConn is kinda bad. Hopefully they can get their head out their arse and play some ball. Baylor is horrible.

Congrats to UConn on the win. Great see-saw battle, fun game to watch. Final 31-28. So far 2-2 against the Big 12.

RE: UConn game thread
Man what a frustrating game. The kid Griffin will be a star for sure. That being said, the B12 refs are trying hard to give the game to Baylor anyway they can.

1. They took away a fumble recovery by UCONN at end of the 1st half off the punt. Could have been resulted in an UCONN FG.

2. Total total total BS call on late hit against Darius Butler against Griffin when he threw that INT. Would have resulted in UCONN ball but instead called 15 yards penalty on UCONN. Result: free TD for Baylor.

3. Took away a clear safety on Baylor. Another 2 points.

Total of 12 points gave away. It was tough playing 11 against 14 but the Huskies got it done anyway. On top of it, Lorenzen gave away two scores in the red zone by throwing INTs. Frustrating but at least we won.

Any of those could have been momentum changers in a game like this.

Baylor gonna win some games in the B12 with that QB, RB and WR. They got good skill players.

Big win for UConn. This pretty much guarantees another bowl trip this season. 4-0 and looking strong.

Baylor is not horrible, they are vastly improved. Good win for UConn. Be 3-2 against B12, but probably still won't get any credit.

People won't give Baylor or UCONN any credit because we don't have Texas and Ohio State in front of our jerseys. Baylor gonna surprise some people. That QB is tough. He is only a freshman. The kid can play. He is like Pat White with a better arm. He can't run like Pat yet, but he got the speed.

Baylor is not a bad team. They got good skill players. They ripped Washington St a new one. Wake game was their first so it is hard to judge that. We will see how they do against B12 teams other than OU. They got a real coach now who can recruit Texas.

Ugly win despite of B12 refs. UCONN should match up much better against Louisville than Baylor.

Despite the score, the good points is:

1. UCONN OL controlled the game. UCONN can run anytime it wants.

2. UCONN bend but did not break completely. They pressured Griffin all night and nailed him time after time.

As long as we can run, we are ok.

Just keep winning and the respect will come. USF is starting to see the national respect, by keeping on beating top 25 teams year in year out.

You mean you have some one that can actually throw the football. As for that running back, big, slow and stupid. 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao
You won't be playing a patsy this week pal. No Baylor, Temple or Virginia here. Better find out who Brown's back-up is cause you'll need him after Friday night.

Nothing but class little Jimmy. Big ,slow and stupid. You stopped short of making a racial slur there hillbilly. I'm sure you wanted to type it though. For a kid who is big slow and stupid, he sure looks smart running the ball. I dont know that there is a worse fan base int he big east than UL fan. Go back to CWHOSA.

Beating Wazzu is nothing to brag about from Baylor's perspective. WSU JUST MIGHT be the one BCS conference team that's worse than Syracuse, believe that or not.

According to Mel Kiper Jr, he is #5 in the country on the NFL draft list. I guess your assessment must be right. Outside McCoy, Donald Brown is the only other RB listed in the top 5 as NFL quality backs.

Just for your info:

1. *Knowshon Moreno, Georgia
2. *LeSean McCoy, Pittsburgh
3. Chris "Beanie Wells, Ohio St.
4. C.J. Spiller, Clemson
5. Donald Brown, Connecticut

I don't see Vic Anderson on that list.. yet. When Donald Brown run 150 yards on your D, maybe you gonna give him some credit?

WOW...both UConn football fans posting in the same thread, that's impressive. UConn has never beat Louisville in Louisville: NEVER That won't change this week I don't care who the running back is. Deal with it.

Regardless who wins or losses, it still shows your lack of judgment when it comes to Donald Brown. I will trust NFL scouts over your assessment any day of the week thank you.
