SlingBox question
Guys,

The post about the new Bright House Networks channel reminded me of a SlingBox question that I'm hoping somebody here can answer. For those of you who don't know, a SlingBox is an awesome way to access your television from your computer. I have one hooked up to our guest room TV, which is connected to DirecTV, and this allows me to be able to watch that television from my computer anywhere provided I have an internet connection available. You can completely control the television, including changing the channels.

Which brings me to my question. I like it so much, I am thinking of trying to hook one up at my in-laws house in Tampa. That would give me access to that cable station that broadcasts USF games as well as earlier prime time and better Tampa coverage. The catch here is that my in-laws don't have an extra TV that goes unused. They do, however, have cable hook-ups in rooms that don't use them. So, does anybody know if it's possible to hook up a SlingBox directly to a cable outlet that doesn't require a cable box?
