to actually make some noise. I'm sorry other than USF and maybe WVU I can't see Pitt losing that many games in league play. But the X factor is Wanny.

Pitt is 4th place at best.

If the Bulls lose, they lose. It ain't the end of the world. But I don't think that will happen... 07-coffee3

Bro, we barely have 2 ranked teams. USF loses and they most likely fall out of the rankings. Depending on how they lose they may stay around 24 or 25. WVU is barely hanging onto a ranking. Cincy and UCONN are probly 3 straight wins away from being ranked.

If we lose to Kansas and you lose to Auburn, something very possible, we could honestly have 0 ranked teams. This will effectively cancel out any of the success weve had lately as a conference and put us right back into the joke range.

Then rest of our teams better win. I always knew it is a joke to depend on teams like Pitt and RU to bring in any honor to the conference. As long as they have their current coaches, they gonna suck. Yeah they might surprise someone here and there, but bad coaching always rear its ugly head when playing teams that are well coached.

I thought you would have learned from L-yes ragging on your team two weeks ago, that Karma can bite you.

I'm not going to fold in the tent until the season is over. WVU has too much talent to continue their current funk. UC needs one of the backup QBs to step up, but they have a good team, even though they did get manhandled at Oklahoma. USF's offense is clicking, and the defense will continue to improve throughout the season. The top of The BEast is fine.

We may end up coming up short against the rest of the nation, but I think the Bulls do us proud against Kansas and the Big XII.

The rest of the conference I wonder about. But I don't think the start of the season will be reflected at the end...

What a pathetic showing tonight by Rutgers. UNC is a joke, and they are demolishing the Knights at home. This league appears to be truly horrible this year. It's too early to determine the levels of suckitude, but I'm not sure there's a team in the league that is better than they were last year. One or two will likely emerge, but at this point no one has even begun to prove that so far.

Funny the 3 losses that had truly bad losses so far are what I thought were the 3 worst teams in the conference.

UL's loss to Ky
Pitt loss to BG
Now RU's loss to UNC

At least WVU lost to a good team. I don't know about UL yet since we also have no idea how good KY is. However, losing badly at home is never good. I don't even count Cuse losses cause it is expected.

It is up to USF and UCONN to bring some honor this weekend back to the BE.

No dude. I have little doubt we are much better team than Pitt. We gonna beat you like a rented donkey when you come to the Rent later this year.

Well, I'd call Syracuse the worst team in the league. There's no sugar coating it though. Obviously a win is a win, and I'm glad USF and UConn are 2-0. However, beatin average at best Temple and UCF clubs in overtime is not impressive. WVU didn't just lose, they were crushed, and looked horrible. Rutgers looks scary bad. UofL has shown nothing, as they got beat by UK and last week really doesn't count as it was Tenn Tech. Pitt lost to a MAC club.

USF really has a tough game this weekend. For UConn, its a game where I would hope they win with ease, if they are near as good as most of their fans seem to think they are. UVA is a weak weak team, and BCS in name only. A UConn close win would clearly be better than the league's many losses, but won't impress me one bit. I hope they blow them out, and USF pulls a win out. The league needs it.

Right. Thats if your QB doesn't throw 3 ints. Now that Wanny actually is playing Fields the secondary already is better than week 1. Sorry buddy Lorenzon sucks worse than Bill Stull. Stull's picks came when on a fade pattern to try to get back into the game against B.G.S.U. and on the final play of the second quarter against Buffalo. Until Lorenzon has more TD's than int's in a game I'll consider UConn a threat. Pitt will beat Iowa next Saturday. Wanny's job is on the line and the offense is already opening up.

Well Lorenzen actually played in the BE before. He threw a total of 6 ints last year. Well he had a horrible start, he is a serviceable QB. He killed Pitt last year. I won't count Lorenzen out just yet. You forget Lorenzen is extremely good as a running QB. He runs plenty during the game.

BTW, aren't you the one who thought Temple would beat UCONN and RU is much better than UCONN? Nuff said.

If we took our receivers and our defense and combined it with everything else from UConn including the coaching staff we'd have a BCS caliber team.

It would be just our luck for that conglomerate team to be coached by Wanny... 03-banghead

After watching RU, I think I will keep our defense. However, I will take your WRs and we be good. UCONN D is a lot better than RU D based on what I have seen so far.

Of course, if the team is coached by Wanny or even Schiano, all bets are off.
