Where to watch the Big East this week
Light week in the conference this week due to Louisville and WV playing mid-week games next week and Pitt & Cincy on bye.

Thursday
UNC at Rutgers, 7:30pm (ESPN HD)

Friday
Kansas at USF, 8pm (ESPN2 HD)

Saturday
Penn St. at Syracuse, 3:30pm (ABC Regional)
Virginia at Connecticut, 7:30pm (ESPNU HD)

The PSU-SU game may be part of ABC's reverse mirror in some areas. The game may be shown in some areas on ESPN where the Oregon-Purdue game is being shown on ABC.

RE: Where to watch the Big East this week
I got DirecTV with ESPN's GamePlan, so I got 'em all and it's the best seat in the house... 03-woohoo

RE: Where to watch the Big East this week
I'll be honest. I dumped Gameplan coming into this season. With the Sports Pack on DirecTV, I was already seeing the Big East GOTW and many of the secondary games from ESPN Regional when they are on SNY or MASN. The MAC GOTW comes in on local TV and the extra PAC-10 & Big 12 games outweigh the extra WAC games on Gameplan. As for the extra SEC games, when they are usually PPV, they are ones that the SEC team romps in and they don't do many in-conference PPVs.

I still have the game plan this year but I'm debating whether to keep it for next year or not.

GamePlan will get me some games the sports pack won't. SEC country doesn't bring much outside the south. If it ain't southern, it ain't football, is the feeling around here.

Well - I don't expect Syracuse to win, but it would be nice if the other 3 took care of business. All 3 play good teams but all 3 are at home. And who knows - if Syracuse could get a miracle? They are playing at home.

Hey Matt, why aren't these 3:30 PM ET ABC games in HD? Every game on ESPNU is in HD but not ABC?

A miracle would be keeping it under 40. How in the hell is the spread only 27? I'm seriously considering putting a lot of money on this one.

Why does SU/PSU game has to be on national TV? It could get ugly. Maybe SU players can play out of their minds and make it a close game. I hope they do.

UCONN and RU better win their games this week. USF win would be huge.

I don't think they can get enough HD production trucks in place when they do 3-4 regional games at 3:30, plus one or two games at 8pm. 8pm is the slot where they virtually guarantee HD for everyone. 3:30pm will usually be a Big Ten game plus whichever game they are doing that reverse mirror BS with on ESPN/ESPN2, and that's usually been an ACC game.

Actually, I found out that ABC only can distribute 2 games in HD at any given time (not including the ESPN games). Therefore only 2 of the 3 regional games can be in HD. There are HD production trucks at each game, and I actually saw HD highlights of the UC vs OU game on Saturday night. They just sent them back in HD after the satellite space was opened up for HD.

LOL, that would certainly be nice. But you do realize that SU lost to Akron at home, and Akron scored 42 points in the Dome. There is no hope for us this season. I seriously think we may not win a game. The BE maybe down this year, but SU still has Greg Robinson as its coach.

Oh Pigeon Poo!!!!!
If I were at home I could watch all of these games. Here in San Antonio I only get ESPN on my hotel TV. That really stinks. I want to see the USF game.

Don't you have online access to the games? I know it's a bit of a delay, but a minute late is better than not at all... 07-coffee3

Get thee to the nearest sports bar. Buffalo Wild Wings and Dave & Busters are good and have tons of TVs. Not sure if they are in San Antonio or not. What are you doing at Ft Sam?

Not soon enough. What possible reason was there not to :bustacap: Gerg right there on the field after the Akron game?
