Where is the fire? Another article from the Fresno Bee regarding the imminent realignment. Plenty of denials but this won't go away! http://www.fresnobee.com/columnists/canzano/story/2798547p-3592870c.html

Here is my take on conference divisions! Calm down its only a suggestion and nobody asked for it! I prefer the SEC split divisions. Here goes. Coast division- includes Fresno St.-Hawai'i-SDSU-UNLV-& New Mexico.
Mountain division- includes BYU-Utah-Wyoming-Colorado St.-Air Force. All schools play their division and 2 or 3 OOD(out of division) schools. Total of 6 or 7 conference games. Division champs playoff as league champ. The only reason for 6 conference games would be the option to schedule more BCS schools. 7 conference games would simular the present slate of conference opponents as it now exists in the conference.

I like that plan, and the championship game combined with on-the-rise programs like CSU, BYU, UNLV, Hawaii, and Fresno St. would provide re-vamped TV contracts. Especially the championship game. That sweetens the $$$ pot for all league members.
