Apparently the trend of BG players in legal trouble is ongoing. I find it interesting that the Blade has so far only reported this in a blog post and not a full blown attack article like they have done to others in the past. *cough* It's not even listed on the front page of their Web site. I wonder where it will be in the print version tomorrow. Any bets?

[edit] Wow, what a surprise. The Blade makes no mention at all of the latest BG criminals on the site today.

Regardless, it's sad. That's the best word to describe it - sad.

And you'll be hard-pressed to find a bigger Brandon supporter anywhere, but our HC needs to step up and take control of this team. I love my alma mater, I love the football team, but this is unacceptable and I'll be watching how the athletic department responds.

Exactly. As in our past difficulties, that's the best way to judge your coach/athletic department. Kids will do dumb things but the most important thing is the response.

For your sake, I hope there's something more serious planned for these players than a one-game slap on the wrist. I think that would only solidify the idea that there are no serious repercussions for their actions. I don't know if this situation is serious enough for dismissal but these guys really need to learn something substantial from this. Nobody likes seeing someone do a Clarett.
