If ECU was mentioned, why wasn't Marshall also? They'd be a solid pair with which to anchor an upstart conference.

Jesus H. Farking Christ on a Pogo Stick. Can we all just agree right now on a ban on bleacherreport.com stories?

For those unfamiliar with the site, let me explain: It's a site that lets anyone write anything they want. It has even lower standards than this site. It can be safely ignored because everything written there is by people who have absolutely no credibility and whose opinions are completely irrelevant.

This "site" (NCAABBS) is a message board. And I don't think this messageboard has low standards, I think it is very well moderated. I have seen message boards go into the crapper *cough*Rivals*cough* because of a lack of moderating.

Man, I'm sorry - I completely missed this post. It certainly is a craptacular conference for most high-level schools to seek membership - so I thought the comments in the end about how it would be "a great day for the A10" were demeaning coming from someone that - in all likelihood - would not have his own school join.

You have my sincerest apologies.

The idiot who wrote this just got me kind of riled up, that's all. Thank goodness it's just from some website that I never even heard of.

You got that right. For those that don't know, it got so bad at Rivals that the bulk of Syracuse and UConn posters bailed from Rivals and moved over to Scout.

Now if we could only keep the regulars over at Rivals from posting on the Scout boards, we will be pretty good.
