We went through this last year. I thought I read that the Dome at Syracuse is owned by the city and leased back to to the university so that alcohol could be served there. I am pretty sure I read it on this board some time ago. Correct me if I am wrong.

You are mistaken. The Dome is owned by the University. The state gave them $15M a few years ago to help with a new roof though.

RE: Beer Check
Syracuse being private has alot to do with it. They only have to answer to themselves and alumni. Most alumni are from the BOS-WASH and drinking is quite popular there. LOL

Beer sales help pay the bills as the Dome operates 24/7

Nice deal. About 7 bucks a bottle for beer at the Rent. Still doesn't seem to slow down sales, though.

Bugsy is beer only available inside in the high rent seats at the Rent? The only time I was at the Rent I had a seat inside in the tower and saw it for sale.

Nope, available for all at the general concession stands inside the concourse.
