RE: Six Packs: Ranking BCS Conferences
As long as UC gets consistent QB play, it doesn't have to be spectacular, Kelly is adaptable enough to get his offense to work efficiently. If the QB is inconsistent, or downright bad, it could be a long season.

I don't think the latter option will be the one chosen... 04-cheers

Hope you're right!

I live in Wyoming...thinking about heading down to CU to cheer on WVA when they come to Colorado!!!! It's only about a 4.5 hour drive to Boulder from here.

Cool beans. Better get your ticket while it's still available. Otherwise it could be a long drive for nothing... 04-cheers

I noticed Kirk Herbstriet has ONE team in his Top 25....WVA #18?!?!?!?!?

What a douche......

The BE needs you guys to put the hurts on CU, Auburn, and every other OOC team you play this year....

I also heard Colin Cowherd on ESPN's The Herd predict CU would bet WVA......please shut his mouth too!

We need UC to beat Oklahoma, USF to stomp Kansas, UConn to beat Baylor, UVa, and UNC, Pitt to handle Iowa and Navy, UofL to win against Kentucky and Kansas State, Rutgers to beat Fresno, UNC, and Navy, and the Mountaineers to win against Colorado and Auburn.

If we win all those games, the Big 12 can forget about claiming the title of 2nd best conference. It will belong to us... 04-rock

Nah.....we could do ALL that and most fans outside BE would still call us The Big Least....

We need someone to step it up and win the NC...THIS year.

RE: Six Packs: Ranking BCS Conferences
One can almost always guarantee the following about pre-season projections:

1) Teams/Conferences that are predicted to have good season (not great, not bad)...some will end up with GREAT SEASONS, some will end up with GOOD seasons and some will end up with POOR seasons.

Same can be said for those predicted to have GREAT seasons or POOR seasons.

Analysis at the END of the season (when results are in) are obviously much more accurate and the only ones that count.

Pretty interesting, I was looking at a Michigan board and they were talking about ESPN's poll "Which is the most underrated conference in America" and they said the Big East. The Big East has come a LONG way!

Another funny note on that Michigan board, they were asked which team they would want from the Big East if the Big Ten expanded and they said that the Big Ten doesn't need to expand and if they did they would want someone like Notre Dame. Then they said that the Big East is fine and that they should demand that Notre Dame join or kick them out. Funny to see another fan base say what we have been saying, even if it is Notre Dame's bitter rival.
