My first produce
Serrano peppers from my garden. I also have a couple of jalapenos growing now, but not ready to pick yet. Picked 'em yesterday and put them in a batch of fresh pico de gallo today.

So, can we expect future threads titled "Saturday morning in the garden with Kpig?"
Actually, I am about to get back in the gardening business myself after a few years off. My garden spot was lying fallow when we quit gardening. The guy renting our hay ground a few years ago asked if he could store his hay bales there.
He just left the bales and they started to rot. Trees began to grow up, and we had a real mess. I had a 'dozer doing some road work last month, and had him clear the garden spot again. Plowed it last weekend, and plan to plant some turnips, mustard greens, etc. for a fall garden, then come back next spring with lots of veggies.

Lol...No. I'll just wait for MissJ's thread, and put 'em there.

I've been too embarrassed to post pics of my tomato plants.....they are absolutely horrible looking. They are 12' tall and about 2' wide and all dead at the bottoms. But they are still producing so I really can't complain.

This time of year, it's all about just having them survive the hot weather and the bugs. If you can make it thru until cooler weather, they will put on new growth, add blooms, and you should have tomatoes until frost (mid-to-late October).
Heck, we pick any green tomatoes when frost comes, take them in and spread them out on some newspaper. They will ripen in the house. We have had tomatoes like this on Christmas Day before. And, they taste almost as good as right off the vine.
