How can the MAC even think about doing another TV contract with Eastern Michigan as part of the package? This is getting to be some serious BS.

In the state of Michigan, all of the best in-state players go to Central Michigan that can't get into Michigan/Michigan State. Its pretty much been that way since the 70's. On occassion a few of them will go to WMU who is usually successful on the field. Eastern Michigan can't compete with CMU/WMU in recruiting.

The MAC would be better off letting EMU go and finding another 14th like James Madison that can stand on its own 2 feet in recruiting at the non-BCS level. Add a presence for the MAC in the DC/Richmond markets. Every MAC East team has 15-20 players on their roster from the VA/MD area.
