And some folks want to abolish the death penalty. Why would society want to house and clothe and feed a maniac like this? This person has zero value to the rest of us in society. No matter what the cause or circumstances, this woman has forfeited her right to keep on breathing our air, IMHO!

I read this in the paper today while eating lunch, truly sickening. This woman should be hanged by the neck until dead regardless of her situation.

How about this one? I guess it gets to me even more than most because we know the victim and her family. This article does not even come close to describing all that went on during that 19 hours.

The animal, when informed of the verdict, rolled over and went back to sleep without a word.

Death would be too easy a punishment for this woman. Makes the movie Saw look humane.

From the article:
Quote:A Manhattan jury yesterday quickly convicted violent ex-con Robert Williams of nearly all charges in the daylong rape-torture of a Columbia University student in her Hamilton Heights apartment - virtually guaranteeing the sadistic monster will never see daylight again.

Anybody know what he had been in prison for originally?

He had served 8 years in prison for attempted manslaughter.

Nope, the article is not fake. We were friends of the family when we lived in the northeast. I remember when she started to elementary school. The nicest people you would ever know.

Here are some other links to articles related to the trial................

Look for the ones that reference Columbia University journalism student.

He better hope he isn't bubba's own personal rag doll for the next 30 years. After that he might just hang himself with his shoelaces.

Some people just aren't capable of living in the world

Throw those two in a pit together and the last one alive gets the luxury of lethal injection.
