Did anyone make it to the Starlight Spectacular at Bellevue Sunday night. The fireworks, bands, and orchestra were better than I expected. Beyond the hour it took me to travel from the parking lot to I-40 it was a really good evening.

Watched from Appling Farms Road. Very crowded there, also.

The fireworks were ok. After watching last year's down on the river at eye level from a balcony about 500 yards from the explosions, it is hard to watch any other by comparison.

Great fireworks show, timed nicely with the music. The company that performed the fireworks is the same company that produces the Washington DC Mall fireworks.

Couldn't have asked for nicer weather. It was nice weather for sitting in traffic. I just waited in the parking lot for about 30 minutes and then traffic wasn't too bad. Saved some gas too.

Traffic wasn't really worse than at some sporting events I've attended.
(Let me beat everyone to the joke ---- except for UAB games)

It was good. The biggest problem was that they started so late. Fireworks didn't start going off until 10. They were supposed to start at 9:20. I had 2 3yr. olds, a 4yr. old and a 7yr old with me. They got a bit antsy and tired. I was also thankful for being able to pee standing up. The lines were a wee bit shorter on the men's room.

Nope, I expect that they might have had technical problems with the fireworks. Maybe someone forgot the matches. They appeared to be stalling.

I figured the schedule was just for the sake of publishing a schedule. Every segment of the show took longer than it was supposed to.
