Air Conditioning Please Help!
Frost formed on the doo-hickey that attaches to the outside unit and, of course, I'm not getting cold air. Can anyone recommend a local HVAC company and/ or brand? This unit is 15 years old and probably shot, but I wouldn't mind squeezing another year out if it, if it is legal to put freon in these things any more.

RE: Air Conditioning Please Help!
We just had a 5 ton unit replaced by Harman Refrigeration. I got 5 quotes and they were the cheapest. Your unit uses R-22 which yes it can still be added legally and can until something like 2020. New units are 13 seer and up (your unit is probably a 10 seer) and they should cool better while using less electricity. Any other questions??
