UC lands local OT!!!!
UC received verbal from Cincy Elder HS OT Austen Bujnoch!!! He is rated currently as 3* and had offers from UC, UCONN, UofL, NCState, and Cryamie, OH

Good solid local get for the Bearcats!!! (Helps that his brother Digger already plays for UC!)

We also received verbal from local 3* CB Everett Horne our of North College Hill HS.

RE: UC lands local OT!!!!
This is one of the main advantage of being in the Big East. Being able to scoop up recruits like this (Ohio State can't get all of them, there is still a ton of talent around), and Cincinnati can recruit depth, something we couldn't do in C-USA. We could recruit good starters, but when we played good teams like Ohio State the lack of depth just killed UC. Now UC can recruit talent that we usually lost to the MAC and use it to build depth. And we can recruit head-to-head with other BCS programs, including Ohio State, for some talent. And the attention the Big East has given us in this area and throughout Ohio is amazing.

Jordan Stepp, DT, *** consensus (both Rivals and Scout) commits today.

The kicker here is, he has drawn a number of Terril Byrd comparisons. 6-0, 285, 470 max, 29 reps of 225, 4.6 speed. He'll come in after Byrd and Adam Hoppel both move on, so he should be able to contribute fairly soon in his career.
