Mr. Dover was born on July 10, 1912 in Lyerly Georgia and moved to Atlanta, GA along with his parents, one brother, and seven sisters all of whom preceded him in death. He grew up in Atlanta, GA and during his teenage years worked at numerous jobs to help support his family. One of the jobs was working at the soda fountain at the drug store in his neighborhood of Kirkwood. It was there that he became interested in the filling of prescriptions and sales of pharmaceuticals. This early interest was instrumental inhis becoming a salesman for the Upjohn Company. He rose rapidly through the ranks and ultimately held the position of director of sales for the southern region of the United States. Mr. Dover was a registered pharmacist in 6 different states. He graduated from Southern College of Pharmacy, which after graduation became a part of Mercer University. Among the many awards given Mr. Dover was three times Sales Executive of the Year for the Upjohn Company. Upon retirement, Mr. Dover became a visiting professor of pharmacy at the University of Tennessee School of Pharmacy and ultimately became the assistant to the Dean. He was an Army Veteran in World War II. He served as chairman of the deacon board at the old Bellevue Baptist Church under Dr. Robert G. Lee, Pastor. He also served on the Board of Deacons at Second Baptist Church, both located in Memphis. Mr. and Mrs. Dover later became members of 1st Evangelical Church inEast Memphis. Mr. Dover was active in numerous charities and was a mason in the Masonic Temple in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Dover was preceded in death by his late wife Mrs. Pauline Lewis Dover and is survived by his only child, son, Mr. William E. "Billy" Dover. I, I, I, ah, I just don't know how to respond.

The obit is legit. "Bend over" was actually somebody's real name. It sounds as if he had a good long life.

The thing that hits me is what is a guy named Huge Organ doing reading then posting obits on a message board? Just curious.
