As I stated earlier...I don't think the Football Schools will even care whoever the Commish is for a few years...as they are already probably set on starting up their own football/all-sports conference.

Plus...as a kind gesture...since the remaining basketball schools might end up with the Big East name and/or mostly stay together in a different future conf...Football Schools might "support" a Basketball Commish in the short-run as a well to help set up their current (maybe soon to be former) members for the future....as said Commish would stay with the Basketball only schools when the split happens.

LOL, there hasnt been a split yet, and probably wont be one for the foreseeable future. I wouldnt toot my own horn just yet.
