the cool thing about this season is that you can buy/reserve your seat online and save a good bit by buying season tickets. With the nice new 5,000 seat sancturary, there isn't a bad seat in the place.

not sure about Chris Tomlin but Mark Schultz is at New Hope Christian Friday night. He is absolutely wonderful in concert. He was at Hope last summer. He's actually one of my favorites. http://www.markschultzmusic.com/tour-171.htm

David crowder is not to be missed. One that is worth the drive from Memphis is Soulstock held in Athens, AL. It's FREE and the bands this year included - Skillet, December Radio, Building 429, Alabaster Box, and Ohio radio. I think they have had Kutless, Mercy Me, and Switchfoot in the past but not certain on some of those. It's definetly a younger crowd but any age will have fun.
Hope has been a very good friend to my old church in Memphis. Great place and great people.

I love David Crowder. He was the opening band for Third Day a couple of years ago at the FEF. I know tha David normally plays for a younger crowd than me, but I loved his music and stage demeanor. I think that opening act for David C at the Hope series concert is Jeremy Horn, a fairly new artist that was a worship leader at Christ the Rock. Jeremy's new recording "First Love" is really, really good.....right MsJ?

This week is my wife's birthday and she loves Mark Schultz' "Walking Her Home" so we're going to see him this Friday at New Hope in Bartlett.

I really believe that the highest energy contemporary Christian performance this side of glory is Nicole C Mullen. Wow!! If you are ever within 200 miles of a Nicole C Mullen concert.....go. If you're disappointed I'll refund your ticket price. She is outstanding.

I got the two confused. Mark was the one I meant. Sorry. I really like Mark alot too. My wife and I used one of his songs for our unity candle song. I am going to try to make it out there. We are headed out to Destin 02-13-banana Saturday morning so hopefully I can get everything packed in time to free up Friday.

David Crowder Band is THE best band ever. The man is a genius. I'm timing my 10 days leave after boot camp so I can be here for his concert, which is the day after my birthday. That'll be a nice present.

I have always wanted to see Third day live. They seem like their shows are pure praise. My wife and I had tickets back in 2002 to see them at the Pyramid. We had great seats BUT my daughter decided she wanted to be born earlier than modern medicine thought was safe. My wife spent 4 weeks in the hospital so we gave our tickets away.
Funny thing is my wife (an Old Mrs fan insisted that I leave the hospital and go to the Memphis/"Ville game. If you recall that game then you know I was not happy upon my return.

That was one of the best concerts i've ever been to back in 02. The one in 05 with David Crowder Band opening for Third Day was THE best concert i've ever been to. TD and DCB are the greatest. Third Day's best guitarist Brad Avery left the band earlier in the year tho. They will never be the same.

I'm a fan of Aaron Shust! His song "Give Me Word's to Speak" is one extremely well written song!
