Xavier and other future recruits will also be present. Plus Antonio is flying down. Looks like the whole family will be in Memphis when the two come to visit this weekend.

It is good that Antonio is flying down. That will certainly help sell the program a lot better. I would also think it would be good if Dorsey stopped in to spend some time with Negedu - as they are similar players.

couldn't hurt to have a pickup game with Strickland, Penny and DaJuan either...

Dujuan?? He's not in Memphis these days is he?

Sallie would be a great, great late addition to any program. Very versatile player.

I can't stress the facts enough about what we have coming back and what we are adding this year, compared to after our first Elite 8. We have more coming back and our recruiting class is much better than it was.

2007
Dozier Soph.
Dorsey Jr.
Anderson Soph.
CDR Soph. (9 ppg, Fr.)
Hunt Sr.
AA Soph.
Cooper Soph.

Kemp Fr.
Mack Fr.
Willis Fr.
Niles Fr.

2009
Dozier Sr.
Anderson Sr.
Kemp Jr.
Taggart Jr.
Niles Jr.
Robinson Soph.

Evans Fr.
Witherspoon Fr.
Simpkins Fr.
Garcia Fr.

Negedu Fr.
Sallie Fr.

With Mack leaving, the one thing that is striking is the sheer number of players (CDR, Rose, Dorsey, AA, Mack, Bailey) we have leaving. I'm not worried about how the team will be playing at the end of the season. The challenge for Cal will be to get them to play well from the start when we have our tough games that affect our seeding.

This really is a good evaluation. Except for Sallie being a "soph."
You are absolutely correct about the amount of experience we had vs. this year. One could argue that the "quality" of the players remaining might be different, but no one knew how good CDR or Rose would be ....really.
Good post!
