Also...at 8:15 pm, NFL Network will have the Baltimore at Dallas NFL Game that night too.

Still a good date/time for LIVE attendance...and if entertaining...will do ok in the ratings.

Yuck. You mean a MWC #4 / WAC #3 bowl (New Mexico) and a MWC #1 / P10 #4 bowl (Las Vegas) get on ESPN while our BE #5 / CUSA #5 bowl (St. Petersburg) gets relegated to the deuce? That alone should be enough to push the league's leadership into going after the seventh-place Big 12 (currently goes to Independence Bowl) team or eighth-place Big Ten (currently has no bowl contract in place) team as our opponent there starting in 2010. The Big East needs to do everything possible over the next few years to get this game a better date, better network, better opponent, better status, and better timeslot.
