Monumental collapse by ND today and all this past week.

ND was 33-13 a week ago and pushing for first place. They took off most of a week for final exams. They usually don't play well after finals, but this is ridiculous.

Since last week, they have since lost six in a row.

They lost an eight run lead today and lost 9-8. They lost a 16 inning game last night.

They blew a two run lead in the ninth on Thursday night.

They are a third seed in the BET and will play WVU on Tuesday. I sense a two and barbeque for the Irish this year.

They have the talent to win the BE tourney. The question will be how much that 16 inning game affects the pitching staff entering the tourney where pitchers sometimes start on 3 days rest. Besides, they play WVU in Clearwater and as mentioned before on this thread, WVU doesn't play well outside Morgantown.
