I think all the football stadiums are nice. I think that Cincinnati's is a little small.

It may be small, but it is nice. Plus it is one of the oldest stadiums and playing sites in the nation. We also have Paul Brown Stadium as an option when we need it. We played Ohio State there and will play Oklahoma there.

RE: Who has the nicest facilities in the BEAST
UC has an on campus indoor practice facility and outdoor grass and fieldturf fields in the works. It was part of Kelly's new contract. At that point all facilities will be on campus and as you can see from the picture above, all in one location. This past season they used the Bengals grass practice field prior to their first game on grass. They will probably still use Camp Higher Ground for fall camp. Kelly was unsure if he would like taking the team a half hour from campus for it, but he ended up loving the place. It gives the kids a chance to concentrate on nothing but football for a couple weeks.

WVU has one hell of a soccer stadium.

Best baseball stadium is probably a tossup between UC and UL. They both have brand new stadiums and they are both beautiful. I went to UConn's this year, they need to update that thing.

BTW, it will be nice when WVU gets the new lights and scoreboard in the Colliseum, it will improve that place a lot. Glad to hear that is finally in the works.

Many of the so-called experts feel that Pitt for Football has the best Practice facilities in the nation due to the fact they share them with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Well, being the only private football school, Syracuse doesn't compete, but we have some nice facilites.

Though nearing 30 years, of course the biggest is the Dome:

Everything else is pretty much at Lampe Athletic Complex newar South Campus:

Manley Field House:

This will be converted into an indoor football/lacrosse practice facility in the fall as construction begins on the new basketball practice facility.

Coming soon is the Carmello Anthony Center (basketball practice facility)...click here for better screenshots

Yeah, WVU really didn't put any money into much other then football untill a few years ago...and Huggins was able to do a lot more in terms of getting money from the boosters then Beilein ever was

Thanks for the compliment on the soccer field...it was built probably within the last five yrs

UC has the best baseball field in the league IMO.....from what I've seen its a great facility

Louisville has two grass practice fields for football, one outdoor artificial surf football practice field, its weight training facility with an indoor track, indoor football practice facility, and its football stadium all in one location on campus. It also has a football museum and a facility for banquets at the football stadium! So West Virginia is not the only one.

Pitt's Facilities

Heinz Field

[Image: WeightRoom.jpg][Image: IndoorComplex.jpg]

UPMC Practice Facility has an indoor and 2 outdoor practice fields, on site x-ray and MRI machines, full rehab equipment, a student computer lab and academic learning center. The Pittsburgh Steelers rent space from Pitt at this facility, the only such arrangement in pro football that I know of.

Trees Field

Pitt is preparing to begin construction of a new soccer and track and field facility near Trees Field. Being an urban school land acquisition is an expensive and difficult thing. After a decade of trying, they have acquired the land and they are preparing for construction.

When Steve Petersen arrived at Pitt in 2007, Pitt had some of the worst facilities in the nation, and our teams reflected that. He set about improving all of the facilities and oversaw the demolition of Pitt Stadium, construction of the Petersen Events Center, the construction of the UPMC training facility, the move to Heinz Field, the renovation of Fitzgerald Field house, new wrestling and gymnastic facilities, and the renovation of Trees Field. He left for Nebraska and then returned last year. He started working on getting the land for the Soccer Field and Track & Field facility in his first tenure.

Overall in revenue sports, Pitt has some of the finest facilities in the nation. In the non revenue sports we are getting there.

RE: Who has the nicest facilities in the BEAST
You folks are obviously mistaken. UofL has some of the finest facilities in the country. Far and away the best in the Big East. Everyone else was seriously behind whenever Louisville joined the Big East. Keep in mind that most of these facilities were built without one BCS dollar, without support of the State of Kentucky. Most were bought and paid for by the fans.
