RE: SI's new men's basketball ranking for next year
Kemba Walker is going to be a stud. I was freakin p*ssed when Uconn got him over UC.
I think UC is going to be alot better. As far as recruiting rankings and all of that our talent is in the top 1/3 of the league. We are young but I think during Vaughn's senior year we will be one of the best teams in the league.

Not to mention Cincy could add another player that would great improve next years team...a transfer by the name of Armon Basset. If IU gets post-season sanctions he could be our starting PG day 1, a backcourt of he and Vaughn would just be downright scary. Nothing solid yet but I think there's a good chance based on what I've learned. Williams, Gates, a healthy McClain, and Toyloy will improve our team exponentially...Cincy could be a force next year if Cash steps up or the Basset rumor comes true.

Hey how about Cincy not try to recruit against UCONN so those things don't happen? Calhoun is not an easy guy to recruit against. Other than losing some battles against UNC, we did well in many other cases.
Kemba was a great get and he is also from NYC. Cincy should try to open the NYC pipeline now you guys are in the BE. NYC always produced number of great UCONN players.

Mick has gotten a point guard out of NYC before, his name was Kenny Satterfield, McD's All American, but that was in the Huggins' days, he had two solid years, could have been the starting PG on the national champions had it not been for the broken leg to Kenyon Martin. But I agree, there is a ton of talent in that city.
Mick is 1-2 against Calhoun. Losing Thabeet and Kemba, but getting McClain, who hopefully can recover fully.
