No one would comment on a question about the previous incidents and how they factored in the decision.
Q: Was everyone's mind made up after the testimony was over?
A: "We all came in with our personal beliefs, and those were very different, but we spent a lot of time going over all of the testimony and the evidence."
Q: What stood out the most to sway you to not guilty?
A: "There was tons of evidence to consider both ways. I would say we considered all of the evidence. Since it's a criminal trial, it had to be beyond reasonable doubt. Looking at all of the evidence, that's the conclusion we reached."
Q: Did Michael Jackson being an international superstar influence your decision?
A: "One of the first things we decided was that we had to look at him as an individual and not as a celebrity."
Q: (to parents on the jury) Did you find Jackson's attitude toward sleeping with children disturbing?
A: "As a parent, you are constantly protective of your children. What mother in her right mind would allow that to happen? To just volunteer your child to sleep with someone? Not so much Michael Jackson, but any person. That's something mothers are naturally concerned with."
