Krystal Burgers 72 cents!
Went to drown my sorrows Tuesday night and that little freakin' one pickle, little mustard, all bun burger that has sustained me for decades is 72 cents? 04-jawdrop
No wonder these joints are closing around town.
They won't even post the price on the drive-thru menu.
What a bummer.

I agree and this was important enough to post on the main forum not that B-ball is over to be honest with you.

Something must be done!!!!!!!!

Really though, a double cheeseburger from McDonald's is less than 40 cents more. It is ridiculous.

And if you get cheese, that is an extra $0.20!!!

McDonald's burgers as only $0.79 or $0.89, so you might be better served going there!

You obviously do not understand. The Krystal is not a burger, it is it's own entity. The components transcend the nature of each of their tastes to combine in a super taste sensation. My wife does not like mustard, or dill pickles, or onions on burgers, but she loves Krystals. Somehow, the combination fits together like the various instruments in an orchestra.

I learned to eat Krystals in the early 1950's when they were $0.10 each. For $0.50, I could get 5 of them. What a feast for a kid.

After the birth of our first child, nearly 40 years ago, the wife was starving, and sent me out of the hospital to get her some Krystals. When my daughter had her first child, in Nashville, the grandpa was again sent out to bring back Krystals.

I say, to each his own. I'm sorry that you don't have the taste for them, but as I always say, if we all liked the same things, consider what a long line there would be to do them.

After a late night of partying, if I'm hungry, there is nothing better than from fresh Krystals... Unfortunately, if they aren't fresh, but dry and hard, they are the crappiest thing known to man.

03-lmfao not quite my friend.

I guess I am out of my element on this thread. I don't eat fast food for the most part, and I haven't eaten McDonalds in almost six years. I got food poisoning from McDonalds a long time ago and vowed never to eat there again. Then about six years ago (when I was in highschool, I am only 23) some buddies got me to eat McDonalds for like $30, my luck, I got food poisoning again. Don't get my wrong I love hamburgers, probably one of my favorite foods, but I just don't appreciate the fast food ones I guess. The only fast food burgers I'll eat in Memphis are Wendy's (this doesn't happen often either) However I am a huge fan of In and Out Burger, and Frugals, the two best hamburger places in all the land, but unfortunately neither have franchises anywhere around here.

That was the good ole days when they steamed the bun and wrapped them in wax paper.
