Good! I got tired of that down in Texas. Whataburger is decent but it is overpriced. $9 for a double... I think im good.

Let me get this straight. Your saying that you won't pay nine dollars for a triple w/cheese (ranked only below the monster burger in my opinion), a large fry, and a large coke because it is overpriced, but you will pay three quarters for a singular krystal burger/chick/pup?

Wendy's has gone downhill, you can find a few well run ones, but the bad ones are REALLY bad.

BYB is still the best fast food burger in Memphis. Danvers is still pretty good. As long as the cook that day doesn't think it's 'fun' to make "big fire" on the grill for the customers. Then you get a hockey puck with blood in the middle.

What happened to Hardees? There's one in Horn Lake, but its a crappy one. Anytime I go to New Orleans, I go to the Hardees around jackson for a good burger.

Hardees is my favorite. The monster burger is tops. Whataburger has some quality control issues, dont get me wrong its the best in Texas but there are more of them in Texas than Mcdonalds. Something about that irks me and it just seems to not be as good as it used to be. You can get a burger, a chik, chili pup and a corndog pup for $6 bucks and I find it a more fulfilling meal. That is a matter of Opinion. I wont diss on anyone prefering the latter. Give me Hardees over either of them though.

$9 for a double? Where? in Tokyo?

I have a Whataburger very near my house, and you can get a full meal deal for under $5, that's with everything, cheese, grilled jalapeno's, grilled bun, fries and a soda.

Just a double by itself is under $5.

I payed $9 in Fort Worth for a triple combo in about 2006. Not that its a horrible deal, I was just saying in comparison to that I'd take Krystal prices. The two are really apple and oranges though and shouldn't be compared.

Krystal= Something different. Love the pups and chiks.

True story. We're in St. Louis on 5/31, my best friend had never had White Castle before so he gets in a cab (I'm still at the new downtown casino) and gets the guy to drive him to White Caste where (of course) there is a big line.

Final tally: $22 for 7 White Castles.

Dayum...you can get a box of 8 frozen ones here for about $4-$5.

Remember when they were 12 cents (Summer & National) back in 69. Gas was a 25 cents a gallon too.

You can get em here too but he'd never actually had a real one from a restaurant. I've only ate at one once, in Nashville I think. Definitely not as good drunk as Krystals are.
