Stand up against the NCAA's big6/BCS bias
It is time to stand up against the big 6/BCS conferences. For too long they have screwed over the non BCS schools and this time it cost a team a national championship. It is being reported that it was not the official scorer or one of the coaches who asked for a review of the three point basket by Derrick Rose in the NCAA championship game. It was a sideline reporter. Yes, you heard it correctly a member of the pro big6/BCS media that determined the outcome of a championship game. It is a clearly unethical for anyone outside of the NCAA to have access to an officiating crew during a game. Allowing non NCAA personnel access to game officials could invite similar problems that occurred in the NBA when a game official became involved in illegal gambling on games. Contact the NCAA demand action be taken on this matter. Demand an investigation both internal and possibly criminal. Demand the reporter be barred from all NCAA sporting events and the officiating crew be fired. This may not be your team but if they can get away with it this time then nothing can stop them from doing it over and over again. Then no non big6/BCS school will ever be able to compete. We must stick together to eliminate the Big6/BCS bias in the NCAA.
