It's great to see Memphis get into the Final Four. Cincinnati and Louisville are considered among the Top 10 programs of all time, tradition wise, and Memphis was placed in the 40s I believe. Hopefully that moves them closer to being in the Top 25 or better. Winning a national title would go a LONG way towards doing that!

Yes, congrats are indeed in order Memphis fans. I am a fulltime Memphis fan for the rest of the Tourney.

BTW, I read a funny short quip about Calipari in our local newspaper. A reporter asked him if he thinks that Derrick Rose will go to the NBA. Calipari responded " If Derrick wants to do what he thinks will help his family out, he will go to the NBA. But, If Derrick wants to do what he thinks will help me and my family out, he will stay at Memphis."


Cal seems to be a very comical coach and a very likeable guy. I still dont see why there is so much crap floating around about him on message boards.

I have grown to like and respect Calipari alot over the last several seasons and I would love to see that guy coaching in the BE.

Cal is great! Calipari and Bob Huggins could put on a comedy show if they wanted to. He has been one of my favorite coaches since his UMass days.

The same reason there's crap floating around about Bob Huggins. They win, people can't figure out HOW they win in non-Big Six conferences, so they trash them.

FYI: Memphis has played the Big East more than ANY other conference...that includes C-USA.

Nonsense. This is shaping up to be the best Final Four in recent memory. Memphis looks great, but UNC, UCLA and Kansas do as well.
