The UNC team won that game. The fans had nothing to do with it. The Ville has played in front of plenty of hostile crowds before. UNC the team is just that good.

By the way, Memphis is dominating Texas. I expected a much closer game. But I am glad Memphis is doing so well. It'll make people who say they aren't very good shut up.

Just trying to make conversation. I thought that's what message boards are about. I thought it was an interesting topic that affects everyone. I probably should have used the word complaining instead of the word whining.

I didn't even mean to infer the guy is a bad fan. He makes a good point to a certain degree. How fair is it for UNC to never have to get on a plane to get to the Final Four?

There really isn't a good solution. They try to make sure that the sites have high attendance. It's just an interesting thing to debate.

Maise: After seeing the way Memphis destroyed a strong southern region, do you stand beside those comments above?

Memphis is playing very well but I watched both Louisville and North Carolina make childs play of the rest of the East Region-(case in point Louisville destruction of former Number 1 Tennessee, a team which beat Memphis @ Fed Ex) in which many felt was the strongest region in the tournament.

Memphis struggled with Mississippi State but they did look good against Michigan State and Texas.

Memphis' dominance of Texas was the most impressive win in the tournament, IMO.

I think Memphis is fine. It think they turned it up since the Mich St. game. Like they realized those other guys (Louisville) are taking this seriously we better dothe same.
I think Memphis is the most athletic team out there. North Carolina is very, very good and it's a lot more than just Hansborough. We've got a good final four going on. It's anybody's title but I'd like to see Memphis win it all.

Memphis played to their own strengths yesterday...something which they didn't do vs Tennessee in their only loss of the season.

Tigers took only 11 3-pt shots yesterday...as they used their POWER/SPEED game to dominate.

Vs Tennessee...Memphis never tried to use their power/speed game...and ended up chucking up 27 3-pt shots vs the Vols...which obviously ended in a 1 pt loss.

If UCLA forces Memphis to chuck it up from 3-pt land much more so than needed...that might be UCLA's best chance at a W.

Also...if Love can get some of the Memphis bigs in foul trouble early (and late), that might also take Memphis "out of their game".

However, if Memphis is "ON"...look out.

At least you can san nobody's getting a free ride to the title this year. All good teams left in the tournament. You could say they are the best teams in College BB. It's going to be good form here on in. It must be exciting to be playing in this final four.
