All eight to the sweet 16?
Am I the only one thinking we could legitimately get all 8 teams to the sweet 16? I think some of them are questionable, but none of the teams are a lock to lose.

Five have an excellent shot: Georgetown, Louisville, UConn, Pitt, and ND in my estimated order of likelihood. Like I said before, I’m concerned about Pitt’s short turnaround.

Marquette is certainly capable of getting going, but I’m not optimistic at all about the other two. Nova’s a young team, and Clemson is a beast IMO. I think WVU should be happy to win the first round. Quite an accomplishment for Huggins to get into the dance at all with players which are 180 degree opposites of what his system demands.

Uconn and Pitt got some favoriable matchups especially if both can get to the sweet 16 gameand play the #1 seed in there region. I think Pitt matches up great with Michigan State and Memphis especially given the physical style of BB the panthers like to play I like Pitt winning to the Elight 8.

WVU can beat Arizona and Duke. All they have to do is show up and play some efficient Huggyball.

Hope you're right Bit. One thing that would benefit WV is that Duke is not a big team.

True, and WVU crashes the boards now. No more Beilein minus rebounding margins.

Huggins' coaching style has mellowed considerably since his heart attack, and that's the difference, I think. His head is cooler in a crisis.
