I was not a frat guy ever, and not a frat hater- don't know much about them. What I don't understand is:
a) what kind of sickness makes somebody feel its ok to do that
b) what kind of neediness is there in the victim to allow it to happen and not respond?
When I ran at UT we had a great sprinter who was part of a MAC championship 4X100 team- he joined a Frat and went through Hell Week or whatever. Lost about 15 badly needed pounds and never really recovered as an athlete and eventually left the team. Had great potential as a 440 guy but chose the idiots who beat and humiliated him over something that I viewed as much more positive and constructive.

frats that haze should be removed from campus. no exceptions. what i've never understood is with so many quality people to freely associate with how can anyone submit to organizations that permit such abuses to make these kind of "friends"?

How can someone LET themselves be subjected to it?
