just checked the attendance for the MVC championship game and noticed that only 11,000 were there. Huge drop from last years 21,000. Anyone have any idea why the attendance was so low? Is the MVC already on their way back to mediocrity?

That's what happens when the final includes two teams that no one in the STL area gives a rats ass about.

The teams with the best fan support in the conference are Creighton, SIU, Wichita State, and Missouri State. I find it pretty amusing that the final only drew 11,000 today. lol at ISU.

were there more ILST or Drake fans at the game?

I only watched like 5 minutes of the game...I had no interest in it.

The Drake fans definitely sounded louder, but by the time I had it on, they were up by 14 or so.

ISU couldn't get a crowd to St. Louis? It's only a few hours, I'd think / hope NIU would bring a pretty large crowd for a MAC Championship game if it was only 3 hours away.

Confusing. One of my ISU friends said he couldn't get tickets in time for the game. Did the Drake fans not show up? That doesn't make any sense.

hard to believe that 10,000 fans failed to show up to a conference championship game. I think it shows that MVC is still nothing more then a good mid-major conference.
