I think he just got involved in a case of mistaken identity about a 7 year old.
Cecil Dotson Jr., about 9; Cedric Dotson, about 6; and Ceniyah Dotson, about 2 months old, survived being attacked with a knife and are in treatment under protective custody at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center.

Oh wait, he just spent the last 14 years there. Great job of rehabilitation. The poster child for capital punishment.
Just released after 14 years for murder!!
That sounds painfully all too familiar. Obviously, pampering to murderers, rapists and all manner of thugs, is not working.
Immediate lynchings, and/or a quick trial and public hanging. Forget the free cable TV and health club membership in prison.
My favorite show on TV is A&E's "First 48"...which follows Homicide Detectives trying to solve murder cases in the first 48 hours (best chance at success).
Memphis is on there quite a bit...but a recent episode that actually had the trial verdict before production finished (come on A&E...just update the endings to all past shows!), showed another murderer only getting a 13 yr sentence...which means that guy will be out on the streets in just 7-10 years...for MURDER!
Either FRY 'EM or THROW AWAY THE KEY!!
One should never walk out of prison if they are ever found guilty of taking another's life.
Period.
PS. I think the Memphis Homicide Cops on the show are great! (Female Sgt is a HOOT!). All of them seem "street smart"..but the saddest part about any episode from any city is when a crime occurs infront of 50 plus witnesses...NO ONE wants to come forward to get a killer off the streets.
Its great though when one person DOES stand up for what is right (ah...best not to have murderers walking around your neighborhood) and help the police.
One of the "stars" of the First 48 Memphis edition is a HUGE tiger fan and I'm proud to say, a friend, his name is Tony.
