NTR - Favorite barbeque in the city...
What is your favorite place? I'm curious of everybody's opinion...

Mine is the Barbeque Shop off Madison Ave.

Cozy Corners' and Rendezvous' Ribs, Payne's sliced pork shoulder sandwiches and Interstate BBQ sandwiches.

You left off Payne's, hence I refuse to respond.

Leonard's - consistently delicious. Corky's and Rendezvous are so overrated!

Left out Tops and Little Pigs. I don't know if I have a favorite. Corky's and Rendezous are my least favorite.

Interstate BBQ and Central BBQ are overrated.

Cozy Corner, the Germantown Commissary, and Leonard's are better.

The only thing close to my house is Pig N Whistle, Brad's, Gridley's, and Tops.

For ribs, Blues City Cafe.

For pulled pork, probably Central BBQ on Summer

Brad's sucks, but I always love a Top's plate when I'm in town.

Cozy Corner is where it's at, although Central BBQ gets better every time I have it. I know it's not a traditional BBQ, but the BBQ pulled chicken @ Central is very very good. It's a nice change of pace if you've been eating a ton of pork BBQ. Also, the Cornish Hen at Cozy Corner is some of the best food I've ever had of any variety.

Germantown Commissary can hold it's own with the best of them.

That's what I'm screamin!

Got to get me some commissary when I come to town.

(I know some of y'all will make GL jokes, but it's still great stuff, and authentic to the bone from before Germantown was "Germantown")

It's closer to you than it is to me. 03-lol 03-nutkick

Why isn't there an "other" option? I'm not voting either.

The pulled pork they ship is excellent.

The smoked sausage and rib tips are great also!!

Interstate puts too much sauce on the sandwiches for my taste. The commissary is awesome.
So is Central. I need to go to Cozy corner. Jerry Lawler says its his favorite. I also need to try Central's ribs

Another note on Germantown Commissary - they have Tiger decorations all over the place, and I mean things like old Tiger vanity plates, and a framed copy of the article about the 21-17 game. Don't remember the rest of the things specifically, but it's all around. Also, if you are in there in Tiger gear and they are not too busy to talk, they will probably at least notice it, if not engage you in conversation about the Tigers.

I don't care for rendezvous much at all, and I've never tried the commissary. Pig n Whistle in Bartlett is good, but the original interstate is my all time favorite. Gridleys was great way back when old man gridley was alive, but went down hill after he died. Corkys is ok if you aren't close to anything better.
