Kennesaw's Facility holds 4800 people. That would be plenty for the ASun tournament. In fact if we happened to sellout for the ASun tournament (which wouldn't happen)...that might be the best thing for the Atlantic Sun. A sellout crowd for a tournament - finally some interest.

Nice try BucDelusionalLover - your continued attempts at denigrating our school are tired and aren't working.

Gwinnett Center... haha. It wouldn't be $20 to get in, that's for sure...

RE: Suggestions for next year's tourney.
Guys, that wasn't a shot at KSU, it's a shot at having the tournament at a school. Tell me what's wrong with a neutral site for a tournament? You can still have a "host" school or whatever, but why not a neutral court? The fact is it takes out the thought or suggestion that there might be "home cooking." Back in the day in the Southern, they used to have the tournament at the Asheville Civic Center in NC. There are no teams in Asheville that are SoCon members, not were there during that time. It was close for the majority of the conference, and a good facility for the tournament. If you take the mentality of KSU being a good place because it only seats 4800, then the tourney should be either at Mercer or Campbell, or better yet at Virginia High School in Bristol, Va. The "Bearcat Den" only seats about 3500 or so.
Ultimately, I'm not saying do things like hold it in Dothan, hundreds of miles away from the nearest A-Sun school, just a good, neutral court, and not just the A-Sun tournament, I think all conference tournaments should be that way.

The ASUNsinator Wrote:If it wasn't for the scoreboard and stats panels being wrong every other game, it was the PA announcer mispronouncing Jacksonville's Szymon Lukasiak's name wrong for three days. It seemed like Lipscomb's table staff just didn't care...

They were definitely wrong on the scoreboard the whole tournament long. However, it would be the JU SID's job to inform the PA guy that Lukasiak's name was being mispronounced. Now if that was done and the PA guy still kept missing it that's another issue.
