I don't see how they do it. Crane Lake at $3.99. What does it cost to bottle it and ship it to Memphis? Another one I can't understand--I bought a case of Concha y Toro cabernet from Chile for $3.99 per. Shipping from Chile to Memphis?

That's cheaper than grape juice---and a whole lot better.

I had my first glass EVER of Silver Oak the other night and I almost wish I hadn't. It was so much better than my usual "checking the email and unwinding" wine that it was INSANE. How can I go back to the swill?????

There's not a whole lot I wouldn't do for a cab of that quality. Literally . . . . . . Damn. Just Damnation. I guess instead of a wine snob, that simply makes me a wine whore.

The Hogue Family in Prosser, WA makes some very good stuff AND they are moving to ... SCREW TOPs. They've had it in their Rieslings and other whites but are now going full production on screw tops. I hear the industry is moving that way as well...even the "Hotentot Snoots" as well. If you like a sweet white, the "Late Harvest Riesling is OUTSTANDING ! !

Enjoy ! 04-wine

Argyle Pinot Noir, 38 bucks a bottle with a screw top. MMMMMMMMMM it's like drinking velvet. But damn it's EXPENSIVE and very hard to find. Sadly it's spoiled me off the less expensive Pinot's, they just don't compare. CLosest thing to it is Blackstone Sonoma Reserve but it's pricey too. I may have to go back to drinking Patron, expensive but lasts a LOT longer than a bottle of wine.
