Hrm... no Wooten. Wow. No Kennesaw -- not real surprising other than Wooten. All those highlight reels should be at least a 2nd team nod. I'm not asking for a PotY or anything.

Any chance Wooten didn't get it because of the reclassifying status?

Nope. He got Second Team All-Conference last year.

I don't really like the guy, but how Wooten is not on there at all is surprising.

16.8 ppg isn't anything to scoff at. 4th best in the conference.
1. Rodriguez 21 ppg
2. Florence 19.1 ppg
3. Sanders 17.9 ppg
4. Wooten 16.8 ppg
The snub stinks but what can ya do. It's not the end of the world. Wooten can take his Plays of the Week and his Player of the Weeks to the bank if you ask me.

I think 2 things held Wooten back from getting all-conference honors:
1) KSU had a rough year-not saying that this is right, but I think it holds some weight.
2) I think the 2nd team had better all-around #'s the Wooten and better shooting %'s, at least that's true of Tiggs:
15.2 pts/game, 55%-fg, 5.5 boards, 79% ft, 1.6 assists/game, 1.6 steals/game.
That said, Wooten is an amazing player.
