Home Attendance
I looked up on ASUN's website the attendance facts for the 2007-08 season and we ended up in 2nd to last place at 852 for home attendance.

Hopefully with more new dorms opening up this year it will help increase attendance next year.

Only Campbell had a lower home attendance at 828

RE: Home Attendance
I personally think that we also deflate our own attendance....I have attended games before in which the lower bowl was almost completely filled, and we only reported something just above 1,000. Attendance will improve...but it probably won't spike until we have a chance to play in the NCAA tournament...next year should be better though.

RE: Home Attendance
Starting off slow hurt us as well as far as attendance is concerned. The marketing department now has a season under their belt. They'll have a full time of planning beforehand which wasn't the case this year. I think there's going to be a bigger push next year. This was a time for Striped Crew to experiment with various techniques to promote and soon we'll have school funding if all goes well. That will help considerably as you can imagine.

As sites like these grow, coverage gets better, more people will start taking a stake in the program like we do. I bet we were some of the only people to buy ASun.tv, know who we were playing on away games, know where we stood compared to other teams in our conference and probably know which other teams are in the conference. I'm not saying we're better but we have latched on to a growing program and it's going to take time to get more people to that level of devotion.
