18-9 (4-9 in SEC) I guess wins over Clemson, Southern miss and DePaul don't make you a top 25 team? Talk about a nose dive.

If you have any plausible theories, Coach Kennedy and I would love to hear them. You can reach me on this board and you can easily find Coach Kennedy at the Library Sports Bar & Grill aka "the biblioteca" aka "my home away from home."

You can mention Clemson, DePaul, and Southern Miss as wins away from Oxford, but they also have a home win over Florida plus double digit wins over Vanderbilt and Mississippi St. That's a pretty impressive group to have make up 75% of your conference wins.

They showed a ton of heart and guts last night in Lexington coming back from separate 22 and 17 point deficits with a chance to tie or take the lead with 7 seconds left. Let's see what that gets us the last 3 games of the season + the SEC tourney.

Don'y know why they have been slumping, but those were some awesome comebacks against Kentucky.

Honestly l don't think they have enought talent yet to compete night in and night out. Also the lack of talented depth will haunt a team more later in the year. They do seem to play with a lot of desire and emotion which will win you alot of games when you also play error free and are hitting your shots. When a very talented team has an off night they can still pull off a victory. If a team has average talent, determination and emotion doesn't seem to help you win a game as much as talent does when you play a mediocre game. I still think Kennedy will get the job done, its just going to take him a few more years to get the number of players he needs to compete consistently. I think he has done a great job in just the few years he's been there and has the program moving in the right direction. Good hire...

Terrible non-conference schedule equaled a lot of wins.

Couldn't agree more and I think Kennedy would say the same.

They overachieved last year with a bunch of veterans that Barnes could never win with.

They overachieved the first half of the year with a bunch of young players. It just took a while to see why the media picked them to finish last in the West.
