Ohio at Wyoming 8/30/2008
2008 Football opener for both schools. A thriller finish in 2007 between these teams at Ohio. The return game is week 1. Very competitive opener for both teams.

How much did you guys lose? We only graduated 12 seniors from last years squad. We lost a couple of good linebackers, both of our starting all-league corners, a good punter, and a couple of solid wide receivers. We're stacked on the front seven and in the backfield, but have question marks on special teams, at wr, and at cornerback.
I'll definitely be at the Ohio opener. I went to the opener last year: a 27-0 shut-out of Virginia. Hopefully, we'll play as well this year as we did last year to start the season.

Ohio lost its star tailback Kalvin MCCrae which was the major focus on defenses. We also lost the starting QB and a couple key linemen on offense.
Defensive line lost starting NT, Safety was a big loss as is cornerback. Lost the place kicker and our top punt blocker. Yes, that is a key loss Abrams blocked three punts in one game. Depth at WR and TE are the strenghth of Ohio next year. Battle at QB as Ohio landed its highest rated QB in a while out of junior college. Ohio was ranked #1 by multiple sources in recruiting this year. So a lot of new faces in week 1....Wyoming will be a tough trip and this game is in region that Ohio has never played before. Altitude could be a factor on these guys. Wyoming should have an advantage as Ohio will be preparing for Ohio State in week 2 and they probably will keep most of the playbook under wraps trying to surprise Ohio State.

Your not just a kidding 7,220 feet above sea level will be a big factor and in that part of Wyoming they have only 2 seasons (Winter and the 4th of July)... (tic)
How many starting OL does Ohio return? What D does Ohio play (3-4 or 4-3 ect...)? Just wondering since you said you lost your NT...
