Kennesaw doesn't make .500
Well no matter what happens in their final game -- Kennesaw State fails to reach the coveted .500 mark for the first time of their A-sun career. Now seeing that their second season matched their inagural .500 was considered a "dramatic improvement"...I wonder if falling short will be viewed as status quo?

Attendance was up, home record was 8-5... dramatic improvement.

It was a failed season however you look at it. I thought we could have been better than our record, considering the type of play we got out of Stegall and Wooten.

Finally an honest answer, Corn I applaud you. For your sake, and yours alone, I hope you fair better next season.

RE: Kennesaw doesn't make .500
We underachieved on the court somewhat this season. Should have probably had 2-4 more wins. We overachieved on the recruiting trail, and are bringing in some big time players next year. Program took a step forward because of recruiting, but our win/loss should have been better. Our team on the court this year was not dramatically better than last year because we lacked a distributor for 3/4 of the season until McConnell started stepping up at the end.

Hopefully we can pull out the win tonight against Mercer, finish 7th in the conference, and move on to bigger and brighter things next year. All things considered 26-28 in conference our first 3 years in Division I is pretty respectable. My guess is we move that overall figure into the winning column next year...
