No problem. Sorry about the confusion.

Wonder if Pitt got the idea of slashing tix prices as USF did the same thing last year and attendance soared.
USF now could probably raise tix prices some, especially after slashing them in '07...which helped raise attendance.
Attendance soared at USF due to winning
I was there in November 2006 for a game and there were 25,000 fans...a year later there were 60k+ fans
Mark...USF set a season tix sales record last year...mostly due to slashing tix prices.
of course winning helps (single game tix)...but when teams can get that money in the bank in Feb/March (season tix sales), that certainly helps with attendance numbers come fall.
Also, even after USF was winning, they still cut tix prices for 3 game tix packages (UCF, UL, and Cinci), which also helped raise attendance for those games.
But Knightlight the season ticket sales were around 20k IIRC--the huge spike in attendance came with winning and the meteoric rise in the polls.
I do agree with a young fanbase like USF has--->cheaper seasons helps a lot.

I hope this works and Pitt fills the stadium for every home game. A half empty Heinz field looked pretty pathetic last year on nationally televised games. Pitt and the Pitt players deserve better. Filled stadiums with ravanous fans excites the home team more and looks better for the school and the BE on TV.
