Rucker Commits to Memphis!!!

Indiana has four wide receivers committed for its 2008 class, but the Hoosiers won't be getting a fifth.
Rucker is a two-sport star at Whitehaven H.S.
Peegs.com has confirmed with Marcus Rucker that the three-star receiver is headed to Memphis. The 6-2, 172-pound Rucker was formerly down to Memphis and Indiana, but the Tigers emerged victorious from what was once a three-team race that also included Kentucky. The Wildcats, however, were eliminated because they didn't have enough scholarships to accommodate another receiver.
In the middle of last month, the Hoosiers hosted Rucker for an official visit. That weekend, he was the lone 2008 prospect on hand, as the IU coaching staff also hosted a junior day that weekend. The group took in the Hoosiers' basketball game against Penn State in Assembly Hall.
Rucker led Whitehaven to a 10-2 record and a deep run into the playoffs this season. He is also a standout basketball player.
He joins a Memphis recruiting class that is now 11 members strong.
