Want to win a Super Bowl? Add some Orange to your team
Tom Coughlin and David Tyree are both Orangemen. And last year the Colts had four Orangemen on their team.

Shaun O'Hara (Center for the Giants) becomes the fifth player in Rutgers history to go on to win a Super Bowl. Stupid Patriots couldn't come up in the big one, screw a perfect regular season if you can't win the Super Bowl.

Congrats to the Giants. I had a feeling they'd win this one(no really, I did). The Pats had been deflating for a while now. I wonder if the '72 Dolphins have popped that champagne? 04-cheers

Tyree's catch was the best I have ever seen in a Super Bowl. The better team won.

Huge plays on that last Giants drive. I've been through a few games where my team has lost like that. I'm sure the Pats players are shaking their heads today.

Hats off to Eli on that last drive.

Congrats to the Giants - great Super Bowl game to watch and that Manning pass to Tyree was one for the ages. The escape and the catch with everything on the line - just amazing.

Mercury Morris can come in from off the ledge for one more year. 03-lmfao

I liked the commercial they showed after the game that had Eli sending the '72 Dolphins a game ball, congratulating them on being the only unbeaten team in NFL history for one more year.

That's a pretty classless move on Eli and Giants' part, but this is the Mannings and the Maras we're talking about.

I thought it was funny!

Of course, except for Tom Brady, I find the Patriots basically a classless organization - particularly Beli 03-puke - so I am biased.

Cheers,
Neil

How can you be from North Jersey, a Mets fan, a Devils fan, a RUTGERS fan....and then be a PATS fan??? 04-jawdrop

Just in case you don't realize this, it was a commercial, and Manning didn't actually do anything. They filmed two of them (one if the Giants won, one if the Pats had won). The "Giants Courier Service" delivers a game ball with a note signed "Eli" (no last name, but the inference is there). In the other commercial, the residents of "Perfectville" were filmed welcoming their new neighbors with a pie.

I'm no Giants fan, but with as much grief as Manning has taken, I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

The Mannings are classless? That's news to me.

Sam Madison played for the Ville. Interestingly he was a member of one of the worst teams in UL history under former HC Ron Cooper. His sr. year we went 1-10. Sam played some WR during his time at UofL as a two way player. He once caught 2 td's in East Lansing by a freshman qb who stepped in for the inured starter. That freshman was none other than Chris Redman.
