what's left?
I know we are waiting on Tenarius Wright, B.J. Daniels, Marcus Rucker, and Demaris Johnson. Does anyone know how many more recruits we are waiting on for Wednesday?

Poe and Hightower aren't public commitments right now either.

RE: what's left?
Nashville, AR tailback DeShawn Scoggins is looking at the Tigers. If he doesn't receive an offer from Arkansas (where he visited this weekend) he stated his short list is down to us, Tulsa and the Air Force.

Scoggins, a 2 star RB on Scout.com (5-10, 195, 4.4), rushed for 1,742 yards and 38 touchdowns this season. He also rushed for 4,980 yards and 93 touchdowns in his career, which was capped with a third straight state title in December.

He could be a great land for the Tigers!

You know, we signed another running back from Arkansas a few years back, and as I remember, he turned out to be pretty good too!

Scout has him a ONE STAR 4.5 speed (in text they say 4.48)

Rivals has him barely a two star at a 5.0 rating. Text says he has na offer from Tulsa but Tulsa doesn't show it.

He may be from pig land but he is no Deangelo Williams.

Tommy will pull some surprises out of his hat. I haven't really checked the recruiting boards in the past two weeks because I figured the staff has told recruits not to release anything this close to signing day, in order to make signing day more special. And 40-times aren't everything, I was surprised to learn last night that Wes Welker runs a 4.55 40.

Hmmm. . .well, hope you're right. We've heard that before in previous years, but I think this year holds considerable more promise because several highly-regarded recruits (Daniels, Wright, Dam. Johnson) have not scratched us off their short lists. I still think Tim McGee is in play. . .a poster on the Minn. message board seems to think he's not going to honor his commitment to the Gophers.

I sure hope we get T. McGee. Our defense would improve big time with good D. linemen. The Giants are a good example.

We need mean people who can put pressure on the opposition.
