Yes, it's LONG overdue.

Since he finally made it I decided to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame site. Here's another thing that points to the theme of mine the past few days -

Notre Dame - 11 members in
Pitt - 6
Syracuse - 6
Penn State - 5
Miami - 4
West Virginia - 2
Boston College - 2
Louisville - 1

That total would place it second behind the Big Ten in terms of number of players making it into the Pro Football HOF.

And for the bb haters amongst you: 03-wink

Georgetown - 3
Marquette - 1
Villanova - 1

These additions (if they were part of a partial hybrid) would put it in first place. 03-nutkick

Cheers,
Neil

It is ridiculous that it took him this long to get into the HOF. BTW, I am having discussion with a Steeler fan who actually thinks Hines Ward is a shoe in for the HOF. Whatever.

Growing up a Redskin fan, Art Monk was my favorite receiver. I also loved to watch Darrell Green. Good to see them in the Hall where they belong.

Several of the Hogs deserve to be invited. Joe Jacoby in particular. I think Dave Butz, former huge DTackle deserves to be in the Hall. That guy was doubled every game he played. Charles Mann deserves consideration.

That'd be great. Their line was dominant, and Jacoby would give UofL their 2nd HOF'er and he is a Louisville native as well!
