great trade by minaya. He gave up nothing they used last year or plan on using this year. Not to mention they didn't have to part with fernando martinez. Now they just have to hope santana's arm holds up for the full contract. He has a lot of innings on his arm.

i still dont think signing livan hernedez wouldnt be a bad idea. im glad we keep fmart also. maybe i'll be able to see this in new orleans. and maybe the cardinals will get some talent in their farm systems

We have the 18th, 22nd and 34th pick in the draft this year... all first rounders


another good point. proably will go all college pitchers. should be interesting
