Hope we can live up to those expectations..Looks to be a fun year. Anyone know if Robbins is staying at short or will he play second this year?

me too man, i am really excited about this baseball season. Baseball is actually my favorite sport. Our pitching staff looks to be dominant this year, cant wait to get out there and watch the owls. i didnt see the preseason polls, but i assume stetson is #1?

Yea Stetson got 8 first place votes, we got 3 and Jacksonville got 1. Baseball is my favorite sport as well. Robbins, Baker, and Heckathorn were all all-conference selections.. Best part about this years team is we have like 4 seniors on the entire roster.

I like baseball but I just can't bring myself to work my schedule around KSU's home games. Don't know what it is. Would be nice if we had larger stands and could fill those. Can't really fill them up now consistantly, but it'd be nice to have a crowd there. I don't know what it would take to get me out there on a consistant basis. Probably nothing. Maybe some big schools here but UGA and tech havent had that pull on me.

Keep in mind, this is just me. There's plenty of people that love baseball and know people on the teams to show up to the games. I wish them well too. Gotta keep the etsu fans at bay

Stetson is just crazy good. They looked extremely strong when they came last year (a game I did go see in person).

just a random stupid observation about ksu baseball. i hate the beginning of the season because it is always so freaking cold going to the games. you have the cold air, which is bearable. but the kicker is the wind. i dont know if anyone else has ever noticed this (im sure you have if youve been on campus hardly at all) but there is constantly a breeze at ksu. it will be 90 degrees outside and still have a breeze. im no weather man so i dont really know why, but man walking to class in the mornings, and going to to the early season baseball games are the worst. agree or disagree? thoughts on the wind as to why?

Haha. Being a student, I completely agree with you about the winds on campus. They slice right through you. Regardless, I love baseball season and I'm really looking forward to it. They've put together a great schedule and I will definitely be there to see us take on UGA and Tech at home.
