What was it that caused the bad feelings between Fresno St. and the rest of the MWC?

Why would the MWC choose TCU over Fresno St. for expansion? Makes no sense at all. Fresno is a geographic fit. Fresno has very good football and has had for a long time. Fresno has terrific fan support and appears to have very good facilities. I would have to believe that the good folks at Fresno St. would have been just drooling at the mouth to join up with the MWC while TCU was and still is a very divided community about it.

I heard it had something to do with Fresno St. taking partial qualifiers, etc. but there has to be more to this story than just that.

What's the MWC's stance on partials? Have they made one?

I believe that the MWC does not accept them and I also believe that Fresno St. recently changed to not accept them also. Not sure though! We need a MWC expert to come along and let us know exactly.

Fresno State has a history of NCAA violations plus they have a history of their student athletes going to prison for some pretty major crimes....murder, rape, etc....kind of like byu!
