Stephanie Storm isn't very good. I rarely read her anymore. The only reporter covering Kent that I try not to miss is David Carducci. I skip Elton Alexander a lot, too.

Congrtaulations Kent State on the hard fought win.

I disagree on the class comment though, do I think Quade was wrong? Yes, but just as wrong as Q and Mincy. Q shouldn't have reacted the way he did when McNees fouled him, Quade shouldn't have run in, Mincy shouldn't have went after Quade, KSU fans shouldn't have thrown things at Quade, Q shouldn't have run past the Akron bench laughing and sticking his tongue out. Both teams were out of line, both teams ruined a great game!

Good Luck the rest of the way KSU, see you in early March!

Great game Milum, you foul out in 10 minutes without any points, rebounds, assists, blocks, 2 turnovers and then try to mix it up. McNees had 4 fouls and couldn't even intentionally foul right without kickstarting the melee, another great game, 3 points and 8 turnovers in 16 minutes. Conyers also fouled out in 12 minutes without any points. Hope these guys get major minutes next time we see them.

Agreed. It's a rivalry, but it should be fun. It was a hard fought game that didn't deserve to end that way. Bear in mind though that these are still young men and emotions can get the best of them.

Are we sure that Q wasn't just being goofy and heading towards the students? I wasn't there, but I hope he wasn't really taunting. I don't see that.

yes I think she has conflicting interests. works for the ABJ and writes about us. not sure how they were ruining our season before even playing. that is why they play the games. ask Miami about preseason predictions.

GO FLASHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DC IS THE BEST WRITER IN THE AREA HANDS DOWN.

Can we all get off the loony and sorry ending to this game and focus on THE GAME. What a comeback! They started playing Kent State Basketball in the second half and it made a difference. Let's focus on that!
